Lost sight of your passion? Frustrated at work? Think you can be happier, wealthier and more productive? If your answer is “Yes,” then Blair Tindall’s story will inspire you to change your life. By uncovering hidden aptitudes while working as a high-profile classical musician, Tindall found her own genius after exploring areas she’d never considered – earning a full fellowship to Stanford University in journalism, writing a bestselling memoir, and consulting with individuals and organizations on creativity and nonprofit policy. Now a triple threat as award-winning author, musician, and multifaceted performer, Blair’s dynamic Flair for Genius outlines clear steps, using her APT Approach to guide your mission. A guest expert on CNN and Fox News, who has delighted audiences at Harvard and Stanford universities, Blair Tindall shows clients how to apply their talents, interests and aptitudes to virtually any job – or package their unique profile for a satisfying career change.Blair’s key audiences include: • Students, learning to start on the best career from the beginning, identify and measure their talents – finding new passions and directions for their curriculum.
• Career changers, ready to explore new horizons discover old passions and hidden talents for dramatic, effective change. • Corporate employees create new paths to job satisfaction, making a big difference through small, yet effective changes. Her most-requested keynote speech: Flair for Genius: Discovering Your Best Self It means finding your individual talents, interests, and goals that set you apart from anyone else in the world. Genius is a strange term. It makes people shake in their boots – something that only a few famous people possess. But in reality, genius means using your own talents, interest and goals in a way no one else can. Whether you’re just starting out, looking for a new job, or just tweaking your current career, you know there’s a genius lurking within, waiting to be polished and discovered. But what is it? Genius doesn’t mean book-smarts – it means using your unique profile to thrive in your own way. It’s the combination of talents and interests that makes you unique. Like the zingy “sweet spot” on a tennis racquet, identifying your own Flair for Genius can make all the difference between a middling job and a life-changing career. Think of the stars of our world, those making a unique mark in history. Mozart didn’t go to music school, he found his own gifts without copying other composers. Director and screenwriter Mel Brooks listened to his muse, inventing the wild concept for “Blazing Saddles,” and even writing music for his Broadway hits that won him three Grammy Awards. And any famed athlete, like Magic Johnson or David Beckham, develops a style like no other to win big. These celebrities illustrate the sparkle that ordinary people can achieve too – when their own Flair for Genius resonates.
Using her maverick APT Approach, Blair demystifies how you, too, can chart your future – a plan that already lies inside you, waiting to be uncovered. APT stands for the Ambitions, Plans, and Talents embedded in every personality. It’s a way of reminding clients who they really are; the person with whom they’ve disconnected, the star they’ve never had a chance to find. So many people live humdrum lives, programmed by the expectations of others, yet by identifying their true gifts and interests, a clear plan often emerges in as little as a day – one using strengths while discarding any weaknesses. Because the APT Approach measures innate, rather than learned, qualities, it’s essential life training for diverse audiences.
