How to Sell Your Ebooks and Reports in Amazon’s Kindle Store
How to Sell Your Ebooks and Reports in Amazon’s Kindle Store by Denise Wakeman
Until I bought a Kindle last month, I had not paid much attention to the amazing content that’s available for digital download. Then, I discovered that I could promote my blogs on Amazon for download to the Kindle. Next, I found out I could publish my own ebooks and reports and sell them in the Kindle store. Even if no one ever buys a single digital copy, I now have a presence on Amazon.com that I didn’t have before.
Of course if you’re a published author then this is no big deal. But for those of us with ebooks, whitepapers and reports, this is a great opportunity to reach new markets. This week the New York Times reported that Ebooks Top Hardcovers at Amazon.
I had my tech wiz Traci Knoppe check out the process to publish one of my reports in the Kindle store. It took under an hour to convert the word doc to the proper format, complete the online form, upload the file and an image, preview and publish. In less than 48 hours the report was in the store.
I had Traci record a 5:45 minute video for you so you can see how easy it is to add your own ebooks and reports.
